House of Spectrum was commissioned by American University of Sharjah for a very special book project. We delivered a unique publishing project, expertly blending literature and fine art. The project stands as a testament to high-end craftsmanship, combining traditional bookbinding techniques with modern industrial design.
The Anatomy of Luxury
To reflect the prestige of one of the region's leading academic institutions, House of Spectrum utilized a palette of rich blue textures and gold metallic accents. Every element was chosen to create a multi-sensory experience.
* Velvet Box Presentation: The book and its bespoke presentation box are encased in a deep, premium blue velvet. This provides an immediate sense of warmth and weight, setting the tone for the content within.
* Precise Detailing: The design features intricate embossing to provide physical depth, complemented by gold foiling, and calligraphy that catches the light with every turn of the page.
* Elaborate Centerpiece: The defining feature of the cover is a custom gold-plated plaque. Unlike standard plates, this was created using a unique mold design, specifically engineered to represent the architectural or symbolic essence of AUS.

More than aesthetics, this project sets a new standard for luxury educational packaging. Encased in a matching velvet-lined box, the unboxing experience is elevated. The result is a sophisticated tribute, serving as both a historical record and a symbol of Sharjah’s cultural and academic pride.
